New Hire Set-Up

Making a good first impression is priceless. IT makes sure that new employees are set up with the proper tools and needs to get them up and running quickly. From computers to software packages, IT is available to help.

Current Employee Changes

If you have a student or intermittent employee that is changing positions or leaving CPC, please contact the IT department to assist with the transition.

Having Issues with your Accounts? We can help!

The IT staff is able to support employees with the following accounts and programs:

  • Email (Zimbra)
  • Calendar (Zimbra)
  • Local Area Network (Windows AD)
  • CPC ERP Systems (IFAS)
  • Investment Management System (IMS)
  • BOE (Business Objects Enterprise)

Network Share Drives

Drive Purpose
H: User “Home” directory
Each user is allowed 1GB space
Restricted to the user
J: Department Directory
Restricted to the department (i.e., Admin, Finance, Sponsored Programs, HR, IT, Bookstore, Campus Dining, etc.)
Some exceptions apply
M: Org Docs
Public to CPC users
Some exceptions apply
T: Template
Public to CPC users
Contains various communication templates (Word, PowerPoint, CPC letterhead, etc.)
O: UserXChange
Public to CPC users
Meant to be used for temporarily sharing files between users
Not designed to be used as permanent storage
Contents periodically deleted without prior notification

Backed up nightly

Replicated twice daily (7:00 AM and 12:00 PM) – this means you can go back to previous versions should you need to.
