Educational Fee Reimbursement Program
Full-time employees who have been employed longer than six months may be eligible to take a course at Cal Poly, or other accredited academic institution with administrative approval. The course must be work-related or part of an approved Career Development Plan relating to a career existent in the CPC. Fee reimbursement may not exceed the fees required for six or less units at Cal Poly.
Employees who have been employed more than six months may take a course at Cal Poly, Cuesta College, or other accredited institution with administrative approval. The course should be taken on the employee’s own time. The course must be work-related or part of an approved Career Development Plan relating to a career existent in the Cal Poly Corporation. Fee reimbursement shall not exceed the fees required for six or less undergraduate units at Cal Poly.
On demand courses can be accessed through SkillPort or Lynda.com via your Cal Poly Portal. These courses can be completed at your desk and at your own pace.

Instructor Led Training
Various courses are offered throughout the year by our in house subject matter experts or outside guest trainers. Notifications of upcoming trainings are emailed out and sign-ups are through SkillPort via your Cal Poly Portal.
