Following a year in which Cal Poly Corporation staff furthered its commitment to the university by taking on big projects, and continued work to enhance the campus experience for all Cal Poly community members, the board of directors approved a proposed general salary increase for employees.

The approved five percent salary increase for CPC employees who started before April 2, 2023, will be effective in July and will be seen in the July 28 paycheck.

“Our team has done so much this year, from taking on the Technology Park expansion project and making progress on a new housing development, to securing more than $30 million in insurance recovery for Swanton Pacific Ranch, supporting more than 300 Learn By Doing university programs, supplying 9,556 students with accessible courseware, processing 28,533 payroll checks, hosting 72 events with 25,583 attendees, winning six international awards for our marketing and communication efforts,” CEO Cody VanDorn said. “This is a small thank you from your leadership team.”
