Starting July 1, full-time benefited Cal Poly Corporation employees who are PEPRA members will see an increase in their CalPERS employee contribution.

These increases happen under the Public Employees’ Pension Reform Act (PEPRA) law, that stipulates that CalPERS members hired on or after January 1, 2013, are subject to increases or decreases to their member contribution rate each fiscal year based on the CalPERS annual actuarial valuations.

For the July 1, 2023-24 fiscal year, full-time benefited CPC employee contribution will be increasing to 8.75%.

This member contribution rate will help to fund lifetime pension benefits.
