How to Make Changes During Open Enrollment
Since the dawn of Open Enrollment, staff who wanted to make changes to their health benefits had to do so through the Human Resources team. Fast forward to fall of 2023 and now benefited staff have the freedom make these updates on their own, at their convenience.
A new self-service model has been rolled out this year that enables staff to login to their health benefit accounts and make changes and updates.
This is how it works.
Making changes to Medial Plans
Employees who want to make changes to their Medical Plan need to register for a CalPERS account if they haven’t already. Once enrolled, employees can login to their CalPERS account here.

Making changes to dental, vision and life insurance, and FSA/DCA
Updates to everything else, dental, vision and life insurance, and FSA/DCA, will be made through Employee Navigator. Staff will need to register a new Navigator Account. Once enrolled, employees can login to their Navigator account here (use Cal-PolCor as the company identifier).
