How to Create an Official Corporation Email Signature.

It has been well documented that an email signature that is clean, consistent and informative is one of the simplest ways that an organization can increase their professionalism and brand recognition. The new CPC email signature can help us do just that.

Let’s get started. The first set of directions is for CPC employees who use Outlook 365 on the web. Scroll down a little to find directions for CPC employees who use the Outlook desktop application. 

For Outlook 365 Users:

  1. Open your Outlook 365
  2. Click on the settings gear in the upper right corner.
  3. Click on the ‘View all Outlook Settings’ at the bottom of the panel.
    (If this is not an option make sure that you are using the ‘New Outlook’)
  4. Under ‘Mail’ click on ‘Compose and reply.’
  5. In the text box, create your signature using the Calibri type face and following the guidelines below.

6. Choose the proper color indicted in the guideline for name and contact information as well as the theme line.

7. Check the ‘Automatically include my signature on messages I send’ box to append your signature to all outgoing emails including replies and forwards.

8. Click Save.

 

For Outlook Desktop Users on PC:

  1. Open Outlook
  2. Click on ‘New email.’
  3. Click on ‘Signature’ in the tool bar.
  4. Click on ‘Signatures.’
  5. Select ‘New’  and choose a name.
  6. In the text box, create your signature using the Calibri type face and following the guidelines below.

 7. To change the font color highlight everything but the DELIVER THE DIFFERENCE line and click ‘Automatic’.

8. Click on ‘More Colors’ and fill in the following numbers. 
Red: 3
Green: 86
Blue: 66

9. Click Ok

10. Highlight DELIVER THE DIFFERENCE and click ‘Automatic’. 

11. Click on ‘More Colors’ and fill in the following numbers
Red: 180
Green: 167
Blue: 108

12. Click ‘OK’.

13. 
In the ‘Choose Default Signature’ heading on the upper right, select your new signature in the ‘New Message’ and the ‘Reply/Forward’ dropdown menu. 

14. Click ‘OK”.
