Open Enrollment is Here

Right now, through Friday, Oct. 13 all benefited employees can make changes to their health insurance plans for the 2024 calendar year.

This year, making changes during Open Enrollment is even easier thanks to a new self-service model that enables employees to login and make changes at their convenience. Granted, that convenience takes place before the Oct. 13 deadline.

All employees who want to make changes to their Medical Plan will need to register for a CalPERS account if they haven’t already. Once enrolled, employees can login to their CalPERS account here

Changes to everything else, dental, vision and life insurance, and FSA/DCA, will be made through Employee Navigator. Staff will need to register for a new Navigator Account. Once enrolled, employees can login to their Navigator account here (use Cal-PolCor as the company identifier)

Click here for tips and video tutorials for how to do that.

Employees wishing to participate in FSA/DCA need to enroll each year with their election amounts.

For staff who do not want to make any changes to their existing medical insurance plan for 2024, no action is required.

Please note that Open Enrollment is the only time staff can make changes to 2024 health care plans, apart from a qualifying life event. Any changes or elections made during Open Enrollment will go into effect Jan. 1, 2024, with the first payroll deduction in December.

Human Resources will host a virtual forum to answer questions about the process on Oct. 5 at 2 p.m.
