SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA – Cal Poly Corporation’s Marketing and Communication department recently took home five international MarCom awards for campaigns created to promote employee excellence within Campus Dining, corporation and Administration and Finance.
Of more than 6,000 entries, the department came away with one platinum award, two gold awards and two honorable mentions. Administered by the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals, the MarCom awards is one of the largest, most respected creative competitions in the world.
The winning campaigns included a platinum for work for the CSU Chief Procurement Officers Association, two gold for the corporation, and two honorable mentions for Cal Poly Print and Copy, and human resources.
The platinum award, given to only 15 percent of recipients, honored a 2018-19 annual report created for the CSU Chief Procurement Officers Association. The gold awards were in recognition of the corporation’s Deliver the Difference campaign and the Vista Grande Dining Complex website. The newly redesigned Cal Poly Print and Copy website brought in an honorable mention as did the marketing campaign for the Administration and Finance “Tell Us and Win” customer satisfaction survey.
