NOTE FROM THE Chief EXECUTIVE Officer

For 80 years, Cal Poly Corporation has served as Cal Poly’s strategic partner in creating a nationally ranked university with a reputation for combining academic expertise with hands on experience.
This Learn by Doing philosophy is core to what drives Cal Poly and the purpose for which the corporation was created.
And now, as the campus looks to the future and expanding its role in creating opportunities for students and faculty alike, the corporation is poised to support Cal Poly in every way.
With the completion of the new dining venue Vista Grande, the start of the renovation of Building 19, and the investments in the William and Linda Frost Center for Research and Innovation, the corporation is in the process of providing more than $75 million in investments in campus. These investments are a part of our mission to create a better student campus experience.
We are also continuing to create opportunities by growing our academic and research support through our Sponsored Programs and Economic Development office. Some of the current projects include monitoring eelgrass in Morro Bay, working on a project to increase participation levels of low-income, first-generation students in postsecondary education, and expanding Cal Poly’s connection with the local tech community by providing financial support to expand the Cal Poly Technology Park.
Now as we move forward and as Cal Poly strives to continually deliver an unrivaled Learn by Doing education, the corporation will be there to provide innovative solutions and support.
