Cal Poly Summer Campaign

For the summer quarter of 2021, Cal Poly offered classes virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The value proposition for summer classes is Cal Poly students can catch up or get ahead with their studies. Students can choose from 5, 8 and 10-week sessions, which provide them with the opportunity to work, travel, pursue internships and still make degree progress.

The Cal Poly Extended Education marketing team developed an integrated marketing campaign to build awareness and drive registration for summer classes. The effort included print collateral, website, social media, email communication and advertising. The goal for the summer class program was to enroll 5,000 students, which the marketing campaign helped to surpass by 10%.
