Pentathlon Campaign

In January 2020, elite athletes from across the nation descended upon Cal Poly and competed in the USA Pentathlon National Qualifier. The event pitted nearly 50 competitors against each other in five sports for their chance to be named to Team USA. It was an incredible two days for Cal Poly, hosting a sporting event of this scale and national importance.

It was also a moment of great pride for the Cal Poly Corporation as staff planned, promoted and executed the event. The experience was especially gratifying for the organization because it had only three months to implement this high-profile meet. An integrated marketing campaign was developed and included print collateral, website, social media, public relations, community outreach and advertising assets.
