Reusable Tumbler Campaign

Cal Poly reusable tumbler

For the 2020-21 academic year, Cal Poly Campus Dining began offering reusable tumblers to help increase university sustainability, safety and convenience. These sleek and durable on-the-go cups are embedded with a scannable chip that can be loaded with up to 20 pre-purchased drinks. Each Cal Poly branded tumbler is free to first-year students with a dining membership. The simple practice of using reusable cups helps Campus Dining keep thousands of single-use cups out of landfills, lowering the campus’ environmental footprint and reinforcing Cal Poly’s commitment to sustainability.

To ensure first-year students knew about the program an integrated marketing campaign was developed that included web, print collateral, social media, communications and community outreach.
