Regular, benefited employees are eligible to participate in the CPC Medical Insurance Plan administered through the California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS). Employees have several different plans to choose from including HMO and PPO options. The plans are administered by Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield, and United Healthcare, and provide coverage for employees and their eligible dependents (spouse, registered domestic partner, children up to the age of 26). CPC covers a large portion of the medical premium for the employee and their eligible dependents, and the employee is responsible for premium payments in excess of the Corporation contribution (pre-tax).
